* In recent past students of our Department have performed very well at University Examinations. Final results of past few years has shown that more than 40% of our students have secured 1st Division in Honours Programme.
* Our department has also managed to outshine toppers at university level and state board level.
* On successful completion of UG Honours / General programme our Students have joined various Universities for Higher Studies within and outside the State.
* 4th Lecture of Guru Nanak Dev Lecture series was successfully organised by the Department of Commerce on a very relevant topic: “Fundamentals Of Taxation”, on 17th August 2019.
* Most of the faculty members of our Department have participated in State / National Seminars and UGC Sponsored Refresher Course.
